In the recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 15, millennium star Amitabh Bachchan expressed his fear of AI development. Well, the superstar was worried if a hologram would replace him.

The show began with the fastest finger round that Chirag Agarwal managed to win and got selected to take the hot seat before Bollywood 70s superstar Mr Bachchan. The candidate was doing well, while in between the question-answer round, he initiated the conversation over the hype of AI, then asked him whether he studies.

On being asked, Chirag instead shoots the question to Big B, “It was said that AI will take over labour jobs. But now it is seen the people in the creative field are most affected. I feel very lucky to see you in flesh and blood. But someday it might happen that you are not able to shoot and your hologram is being used.”

The 80-year-old actor jokingly replied, “Let me tell you the truth. This is not me but my hologram.” Then Mr Bachchan goes on to express his fear, “I am scared, I might be replaced with hologram. In films, such things are happening. We are taken to a room and around 40 cameras rotate around and made to make several expressions by making faces and looking all around. I didn’t know for what but later I learned that they would be used accordingly in my absence. Even if I haven’t given the shot, it will seem that it is me. So, I get scared that AI will take our jobs.”

Big B requested Chirag saying, “Please help me out if I ever go jobless. We get a job with a lot of difficulty.” The question asked by such a secure, successful, and one of the most popular people in India not only expresses his fear but rather a global concern of youth, who earn a job with difficulty only to live in fear of being unemployed.

Today, people are living in an environment where they are insecure about being jobless as their family is dependent on them.
